Friends and my sister had sometime later started playing EQ, and encouraged me to try it. As a druid (with an alt cleric), I became a reasonably capable healer. It was great. But now I love WoW much more. I miss my "family" guild on EQ, so I followed an EQ guildie to the Lothar server where I managed to get a priest to middling level, but queueing issues compelled me to try a lower population server. I tried a number of servers, and made some friends but never really found a home.

I was lucky enough to be invited to join Michael Nesmith's VideoRanch 3d . VR3D is a 3 dimensional virtual environment which Nez created on the internet for his fans to inhabit in the form of "avatars". VR3D features Live virtual concerts and shows. We've met authors, astronauts and astrophysicists. We are treated regularly to concerts from the house band " Ranch Dressing", as well as other artists including Tony Furtado, MumboGumbo and Laura Love performing many styles of music from folk to "Americana" to BLUES to jazz. These concerts are streamed LIVE, and frequently simulcast on KPIG radio.

One afternoon the VideoRanch Foreman sent me a whisper that she and Nez had rolled characters on the Zangarmarsh server. I was very excited! We met there on that server and other Ranch Regulars as well as friends we've made in-game have created a close-knit band of comrades called VidorRanch Guild, on the Alliance side. We also created some evil Horde characters and established the Welach guild. I'm proud and happy to be among the founding members of these guilds, where we continue to grow and have fun adventures together.
